HDMI and DisplayPort repair

One port stopped working, the connector is loose, or the cable got yanked and bent the port. A damaged port can be replaced without replacing the card.

Signs it's the port

  • The other ports on the card still work, but one doesn't.
  • The picture cuts out when you touch the cable.
  • The port is visibly bent, loose or has damaged pins.

What we do

We confirm it's the port and not the circuit behind it, then replace the connector and test it with a monitor before you collect.

Questions

All ports are dead, not just one. Is it still a port repair?

Probably not — when every output is dead, the fault is usually on the board. See our no-display page.

Send us the card model and what it's doing.

A photo of the label on the back of the card and a short description of the fault is enough to start. Prices depend on the fault, so we don't list them here — we diagnose first for free, quote you, and only repair if you say yes.
